We had a not so quiet dinner tonight enjoying fun stories together. It was really good to spend time and laugh together.

Monday, October 22, 2018 - Highlands, Georgia
Clay, Lucy (our schnauzer) and I took a day trip to Highlands, Georgia with our friends Kenny, Denise and their little schnauzer, Olive. We headed down the beautiful winding road and stopped in Clayton, GA to look around, stretch our legs and do some shopping in the sweet little town.
For lunch Denise and I walked over to a sandwich shop, picked up sandwiches to go and we all ate in a little downtown park.
We headed back on the road and stopped to enjoy the waterfalls near Highlands. This huge waterfall is so awesome, you can hike down and walk right underneath the falls.
We had a really nice day exploring the falls. Sad to say, Debbie and Bill were not able to join us during the day (we missed you guys) but, they were able to meet us for dinner that night at a local barbeque restaurant. We had a great time visiting and catching up on the day's events.
Tuesday, October 23, 2018 - Helen, GA
Denise and I drove to Helen, GA to do some shopping while the guys stayed at the campsite and cooked gumbo. We had a fun day and a fun night with good food and great company.
